Interasco has its own sourcing offices in some of the major producing countries, and its own sales offices in the consuming markets. It is this structu- re that has enabled the company to offer the opti- mum service to both the producers and the custo- mers.

Interasco has had more than eighteen years expe- rience in the marketing and sourcing of softwood and wood products serving a wide variety of mar- kets in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. On average the group is shipping about 40,000 cbm of wood products every month to a variety of destinations.

Interasco is the exclusive sales organization of Finnforest Corporation (Timber Division) in North Africa and Middle East. Finnforest Corporation is a rapidly growing international company. Its core business is producing and marketing sawn timber, plywood and highly processed special wood pro- ducts.  Finnforest has an annual capacity of 2.6M cbm of sawn timber produced in thirteen sawmills, located over a wide area of Finland, giving custo- mers an excellent opportunity to select the quality 
timber they require.
